Abstrakt EN: The numerical model of a semi-cylindrical acoustic diffuser in transient acoustic field is discussed. From the computed waveforms using the finite element method, the straight and the reflected pulses were automatically extracted with cross-correlation. The harmonic decomposition was performed on the obtained pulses and the results in the polar pattern are used for next processing.
