Abstrakt EN: A 3D numerical model of a transformer is presented whose goal is to map structural dynamics and vibrations of its selected parts. The main aim of this paper is to describe and demonstrate the origins of vibrations in a real shell single-phase transformer. The model taking into account the real arrangement of the device and all important nonlinearities is solved numerically by the finite element method and the methodology is illustrated with a simpler example whose results are discussed.
