| Abstrakt CZ: | Zvyšující se popularita metod záznamu pohybu a jejich použití ve filmovém průmyslu umožnila rozšíření a zdokonalení této techniky, což zvýšilo její dostupnost. Použití technologie záznamu pohybu na výzkum znakové řeči se tedy přímo nabízí. Článek řeší použitelnost techniky záznamu pohybu pro vytvoření korpusu znakové řeči. Je nezbytné získat velké množství dat pro následnou analýzu, rozpoznání, překlad, syntézu, a pod. Cílem tohoto článku je prozkoumat možné metody detekce významných událostí v záznamu použitím metod počítačového učení. Těmito událostmi jsou například: začátek a konec znaku, lokace, rozdělení znakovacího prostoru, orientace rukou a dlaní, jedno nebo dvourukost, kontakty rukou, atd. |
| Abstrakt EN: | Rising popularity of motion capture in movie-production makes this technology more robust and more accessible. Utilization of this technology for sign language capturing and analysis is evident. The article deals with the usability of the motion capture in creating sign language corpora. A large amount of the data acquired by the motion capture has to be processed to provide usable data for wide range of research areas: e.g. sign language recognition, translation, synthesis, linguistics, etc. The aim of this article is to explore possible methods to detect interesting events in data using machine learning techniques. Events which we are interested in are time stamps of the beginning and the end of the sign, hand location, division of signing space, finger and palm orientation, whether the sign is one or two handed, symmetry and/or possible contacts in the two-handed signs, etc. |
