Abstrakt EN: The paper deals with the verifying of using electrostatic separation of agricultural crops. Especially, possibility is verified the principles of electrostatic separation during cleaning of grains from chaff, weed seeds, dirt, dust and small fragments of other materials. The paper presents an experimental device for verification of the separability of an agriculture mixture. The experimental device was designed on the principle of a roll separator with the possibility of its easy rebuilding to a plate separator. Experiments were performed for mixtures of several types of grains with different materials representing impurities in the agricultural crops. Ways of improving of the separation of grains are discussed using the results obtained from the separation tests.
