|Abstrakt EN:||Nowadays additive manufacturing technology is a highly topical issue not only in commercial production. Thanks to this technology, it is possible to obtain 3D objects with complex geometry using a laser beam. However, the influence of the morphology of individual powder particles on the printing itself is not sufficiently documented. This article reports the detailed microscopic analysis of new and recycled powder particles of the maraging steel. The metallographic observation was performed by light and scanning electron microscopes. Subsequently, a detailed analysis of individual particles was carried out using an electron microscope equipped with a focused ion beam (FIB). Furthermore, the analysis of chemical element distribution (EDS) and phase distribution analysis (EBSD) were performed. Results of this experiment led to a better understanding of in the additive manufacturing products defects and their prediction.|
