|Abstrakt EN:||In our current research (sponsored by the National Science Foundation), we analyze one of the crucial concepts of scientific practice – objectivity – both theoretically and empirically. We use empirical and experimental methods (x-phi) to examine the current understandings of the concept among natural scientists and its classification and operationalization in their specific fields. During the research, we have described several biases and heuristics that reveal their presence in the current scientific practice and have influence on the objectivity of the scientists. At the conference, we want to present our findings from the first qualitative phase of our research (40+ interviews) that was carried out in the summer 2018, and also first outcomes from the quantitative phase (questionnaire survey at the Academy of Sciences) that will be realized.|
